Acapulco

I usually don't eat at chain restaurants because I usually end up disappointed. There are some that's pretty good like Friday's, Italiannis, Olive Garden, CPK, Chevi's etc. They are good enough to answer food cravings. For Mexican food, Acapulco is a trusted Mexican food source. Very americanized food which will probably not exist in Mexico. I'm not really into authentic Mexican food anyway since I'm not into very hot spicy food. But I've learned to love corn and the cumin smell. A lot of Filipinos don't like Mexican food and to most the closest to mexican food would be Taco Bell. I'm more adventurous in that sense. I do like Mexican food a lot. Today after church I had a craving for Indian food. We checked the GPS and looked for Indian but there were no Indian restaurants around. All I can think of was Tantra on Sunset. Turns out they dont have valet parking, and no parking to speak of. Since we were on Sunset already, Acapulco seemed a good choice. Anyway, it was pretty good. They have a buffet since it is a Sunday. For $15 plus it was a pretty good spread. They have a tortilla lady making fresh tortillas which is amazing, it's got cilantro in it. Soft and yummy. Head on to Acapulco, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
