There's this pre occupation among Filipinos and more specifically among gay men on this question:is this person gay or not gay? I'd say we are obsessed to find out whether somebody is a member of PLU's (people like us). I think we should try it out here, right now: Piolo Pascual (gay!), Atom Araullo (not gay!), Edu Manzano (please!), hahaha! I think we should just leave people alone. Like with Piolo Pascual, even if he wants to come out, can you imagine what will happen to his career if he did? It's just out of the question. I mean our society is such that people will scream if they see 2 men kissing. I was in the audience for the movie Pusong Mamon when Eric Quizon and Albert Martinez kissed kinda torridly. People in the audience, mostly girls pierced the air with a loud shriek. Not very nice for the gay men in the audience. It will be the kiss of death for somebody like Piolo. Can you imagine him coming out and then share a love scene with Angel Locsin? Even in Hollywood, he won't be able to pull it off. So leave him alone!!!! I will. Btw, I saw him at the Gap store in Beverly Center a long time ago and to tell you honestly, he's really hot!
